SIELE is the first Spanish certificate to have this hallmark. The SICELE seal guarantees the official recognition of SIELE. In Spain, in accordance with the additional provision introduced by Royal Decree 264/2008, of February 22, which modifies Royal Decree 264/2002, of October 31, which regulates Spanish diplomas as foreign language, recognize diplomas, certificates or titles accrediting knowledge of Spanish as a foreign language integrated into the International Certification System for Spanish as a Foreign Language (SICELE), which will be equivalent to DELE, except in the process of obtaining the spanish nationality. SIELE is officially recognized in selective tests to access specialized health training positions for: university degrees/bachelor's degrees/graduate degrees of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and the fields of Psychology, Chemistry, Biology and Physics in Spain. You can find more details here.
ACLES is the Asociación de Centros de Lenguas en la Enseñanza Superior (Association of Language Centres in Higher Education), aimed at promoting learning and dissemination of different modern languages in Higher Education.

The Seal of Biliteracy is an initiative from the United States created to encourage students to pursue biliteracy, honor students' skills, and used as evidence of language skills for new professional and academic opportunities. The award is given by a school, district, or state in recognition of students who have attained proficiency in two or more languages. SIELE is being used to earn the Seal of Biliteracy in the states of California, Iowa, Virginia, Utah, Michigan, Illinois, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Washington DC.
In Hungary the Department of Education accredits SIELE as Spanish exam. All SIELE exams taken from June 3rd 2020 and forward, will be accredit by the Department of Education in Hungary. For more information click here.
The Check Republic Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports recognizes the validity of SIELE to certify A1-C1 Spanish levels.
SIELE is among the recognized language exams in the system of linguistic qualifications for administrative office employees and belongs to the standardized language exams that are considered to demonstrate the level of foreign language proficiency required for the job. Founded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education, CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior), plays a fundamental role in the expansion and consolidation of the postgraduate courses (Masters and Ph.D) within all the Brazilian states.
CAPES recognizes SIELE as an Spanish Language Domain Certificate to be used in order to apply for Study Abroad Scholarships. To qualify, candidates must undertake the SIELE Global exam and obtain a B2 level. For more information click here.
